Pancit Puti with Tuna

we love the Amber’s pancit puti..
so here we share the secret..

Pancit Puti
pancit puti with tuna

¼ cup vegetable oil
2 tbsps. garlic
1 cup sliced onion
1 cup sayote, julienned
1 cup carrots, julienned
½ cup bitswelas, sliced diagonally
2 cups cabbage, cut into thick strips
2 tbsps. patis
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 cups chicken broth
1 kilogram bihon noodles, soaked
2 (184 gms.) can tuna with calamansi, drained
¼ cup kinchay, chopped
½ cup kamias, sliced

heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic and onions.
add sayote, carrots, bitswelas and cabbage.
season with patis and black pepper.
stir fry over high heat then cover for 1 minute or until vegetables are crisp tender.
drain vegetables from pan and transfer to another plate, keeping it warm.
in the same pan pour in chicken broth and allow to boil.
add bihon noodles and simmer until cooked and almost dry.
stir cooked vegetables and tuna.
top with kinchay and kamias before serving.
makes 6 to 8 servings!
